Hotel Aston La Scala - Nice

Plot twist, it's actually great!

The bustling city vibe is refreshing, and the proximity to the park and beach is perfect. Rooms are bright and airy, maintained well. Breakfast choices are extensive and tasty. The rooftop area, while pricey for drinks, offers a lovely retreat after exploring the nearby attractions.

Air conditioning issues made the rooms uncomfortably hot!!! The gym facilities severely lack adequate equipment, and the Wi-Fi speed is frustratingly slow!!! Consider revising room descriptions to match reality!!!

Staying here was quite enjoyable due to its excellent location. I appreciated the cozy bed and the big bathroom in the Premium Double or Twin Room. The breakfast was good, providing a great mix of hot and cold options to kickstart the day. The internal noise was a bit disruptive, with disturbances from other guests and maintenance work during my stay.

The rooftop pool was disappointingly small.

The room was clean and spacious, with lovely big windows that let in a nice breeze. The shower was powerful, which I liked, but it got a bit too hot. The view was great, especially from the balcony! Some minor issues with the shower door not staying shut, but overall it was pretty comfy. Just a bit of noise from the outside, especially when the tram went by, but it didn't ruin my stay.

The location of Aston La Scala is excellent, just minutes from the Promenade and the old town. The beautiful double room I stayed in was clean and equipped with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was well-prepared, with both hot and cold options for a satisfying start to the day. I also appreciated the rooftop bar with fine views of the city.

A great match for a city escape in Nice with decent value for money. The rooftop pool was a nice spot to relax, especially during hot days. Consider asking for a room on a higher floor for better views.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the park and local attractions. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I loved the elegant breakfast room, and the breakfast itself was sublime, especially the pancake machine. Lounging on the rooftop with a glass of wine really made my day!
